The purpose of the project is to create a comprehensively integrated system that serves as a strong IT backbone for all the education as well as administrative processes of the school and DEO offices of the State.
The project will spread IT Awareness and Importance of Communication System between all Education Institutions.
Providing Computer Aided Learning to the students of state.

DEO OFFICE

Benefits / salient features of the communication system are as follows:

E-Governance:
The communication system removed the communication gap that exists between the District Education Authorities and the School Principals.
Management of Data became much easier and simpler resulting into more productivity.
The DEO office as well as the school authorities are able to keep track of the circulars in a very easy manner. Search options based on circular number, date of issued, or subject is provided. Hence data is available at the tip of the finger.
With the communication system, there is no need to keep a distribution channel for the transfer of data. For example in Gujaratuntil now, when a circular was being issued by the DEO office, the DEO official would pass on the circular to all the SVS ( Shaala Vikas Sankul) in the District. Later on the SVS would transfer the circular to QDC and finally the QDC would send circular to the school principal. Thus all these steps takes around 15-20 days for the distribution of only 1 circular, resulting into huge loss of productivity, time and resources. On the other hand, with the communication system, the circular can be sent in just 2 minutes.
Training:
Adequate training session are provided to the District Education Authorities for using the system.
Also adequate training is provided to school principals for using the system.
Continuous feedback and evaluation has improved the system and made it more useful to the authorities.

Paper Less Office:

With this system, there is no need to send hard copy of circulars to the school authorities. Thus the system eventually creates Paper Less offices.

SCHOOL / PRINCIPAL / ADMINISTRATORS

Immediately after the DEO websites are created, the need of exchanging information with the school arises.
A Communication System would be developed as part of the DEO web-portal to exchange information with the schools in a paperless manner.
Each school’s principal in the district will be provided with a user name and a password.
By using this username/password, the principal will be able to login into DEO web portal and view all the communication happened so far with DEO Office,
Further the school management system SURE will be provided to all the schools coming under the district.
This SURE school management software capable of generating statistical reports required for the school / district administrative officers to review the level of education among the students.
Using the SURE software, performance reports can be easily published on the school website and also sent to DEO Office on push of a button.

Once the DEO website, School website up and running and the school gets equipped with SURE.
The system will empower the students to access in school’s website for various knowledge giving goods such as
Online Question papers and their solved answers
Access forums on important questions posted by all the students of the state.
Post and get solutions for difficult questions
Access their performance reports and reviews from teachers.
Access their online Students Profile. These records will include :
- Mark-sheets: Standard 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 (includes all terms).
- Certificates: Sports, Leaving, Attendance, Character etc.
- Reviews: Teacher's review, Progress charts etc.

PARENTS

Parents will be able to communicate with District Education Office regarding the school education practices and system.
Communicate with teachers and administrators to enquire about their wards education progress.
They will be able to access all the circulars/notices posted by school and District Education Office from time to time.
Communicate with Other parents and discuss matters by means of forums.
Parents will get to know their wards performance on daily basis.
Scheduled Terms Test Results, Class Test Results.
Performance reports of their ward.
Certificates and appreciations given to their ward.
